Login/ Page access issues:

We are seeing issues with some not being able to see our email login page via the https://message.fortismail.us address. This is an upstream DNS issue failing to resolve the domain name (message.fortismail.us) to our server. In other words; it cannot find the exit of the internet super-highway to our email server. As a temporary workaround, while we work with the powers that control such things, please try using this link - http://69.195.132.164/interface/root#/login.

It should get you into your email until we can get the responsible parties to fix their stuff.

Thank you and we are sorry for the inconvenience, but they don't call it "a web" for nothing. ;)

SSL ConnectionAll FortisMail Traffic is transmitted on an SSL Secure Connection!!

What is SSL?

Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is a combination of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) with SSL/TLS protocol to provide encrypted communication and secure identification of a cloud based server.

HTTPS connections are often used for security on such things as payment transactions on the World Wide Web and for sensitive transactions in corporate information systems.

 Difference from ordinary HTTP://

As opposed to HTTP URLs that begin with "http://", HTTPS URLs begin with "https://".

HTTP is unsecured and is subject to man-in-the-middle and eavesdropping attacks, which can let attackers gain access to website accounts and sensitive information. HTTPS is designed to withstand such attacks and is considered secure against such attacks
